I set the company up back in 2015 after my own personal battle with mental health issues.
Back in my late 20’s I struggled with panic and anxiety disorder and this condition stayed with me for many years. I have managed to come to terms with my condition through the tremendous support of friends and family and of course some fantastic wellbeing advisers.
I realized through my own personal battles that the route of many mental health issues stemmed back to childhood which is why I wanted to try and make a difference by focusing on providing more help and support to young people in schools.
Noticing that the waiting lists through GP surgeries to see a mental health professional was unacceptable, I realized that the route of reducing this demand was to focus further downstream in schools. I also realized that the provision in schools was either very poor or non- existent.
It is important to capture any form of mental anguish that a young person may present with immediately rather than it manifesting and getting out of control.
By offering this immediate support in schools through our wellbeing adviser network results in many cases being captured and dealt with as soon as a young person presents with any form of mental anguish.
This in turn potentially stops a young person’s mental health condition staying with them into adulthood thus placing additional pressures on GP surgeries.
Collectively our team are passionate about making a difference to the lives of the many young people in schools and as our moto says we really are “With you all the way”.
Together we can all make a difference for all our young people in schools.
