FAQs
Q. When does it run?
A. You can see the dates above, we always run for 4 days with drop off from 9:45am, activities starting from 10am and parent pick up at 2pm. We run in half terms and school holidays.

Q. What activities do you do?
A. At Thrive Holiday Club, we always want to offer something a bit different, we will be including a rich mixture of sport, physical activity, creative workshops, wellbeing, food & nutrition.

Q. My child can only make a couple of days, can they come?
A. Yes they can, we ideally want them to be there for the 4 days so that they can experience everything but we know lots of people have other plans!

Q. It's a bit too far for my kids to get to, what can I do?
A. We want to be as inclusive as possible and therefore we can cover bus fares for you (one parent) and your child for each day they come to the camp.

Q. Is it just for kids on Free School Meals?
A: The camp is aimed at providing free meals & provision for children accessing free school meals but we may operate a £10 per week fee for other children not accessing FSM if places are available.

Q. Can we turn up on the day?
A. Typically we have sold out of places and then will operate a waiting list for other children, therefore please book on or get in touch to avoid disappointment.

Q. Why should I sign my child up?
A. We guarantee an experience like no other, we aim to improve confidence, self esteem, team work, leadership and give children the opportunity to meet new people, be creative, try new activities and hopefully inspire them into hobbies for life.

Q. My child has a halal/kosher/religious diet, do you cater for this?
A. Yes all our food is prepared and served by our own professional staff and all food served is vegetarian.

Q. My child is shy/nervous, can they bring a friend?
A. Most of the time, yes, although we will try to get all children out of their comfort zone and mixing with other children attending.

Q. My child has allergies, can you cater for this?
A. Yes. We can adapt our menu and meals around specific allergies and our staff are trained in responding to allergic reactions. However, you must disclose this when you sign up and a member of staff will be in touch before the camp.

Q. My child has additional needs and will need support, can they attend?
A. Hopefully, yes! We have an inclusion lead on each 'wave' and their job is to ensure every child has the best time possible through promoting inclusion and making reasonable adjustments, give our team a call on 01422 730015 to speak to your Inclusion Lead.
